For all the guest spots Johnny Manziel has been in, the first freshman to ever win the Heisman Trophy, the man behind the hashtag #JohnnyFootball or just the most electric player in college football, the best cameo came out yesterday.
Sorry, ABC's Good Morning America, the Dan Patrick Show, ESPN's Mike & Mike in the Morning, the Late Show with David Letterman, CBS Early Show, CNBC (which all took place the Monday following the stiff-armed statue ceremony).
His requisite skills, supreme football ability and personality, were showcased beautifully amongst his peers at Texas A&M and the group “Dude Perfect”. Watch the soon to be viral video here.
Manziel and the famous trick shot artists, though they are most notable with a basketball, take to Kyle Field, the home turf of the Aggies, for a variety of challenges. They skeet shoot, with a football of course. They play darts with a football and a balloon, a tack is attached to the tip. And they do a barrage of throws from the stadium into a moveable basketball hoop, a signature of the “Dude Perfect”.
Johnny Football doesn’t just partake, he excels.
The most incredible of throws is saved for last when the group, and Manziel make their way to the very top of the stadium. The proclaimed the “even longer ball” is launched by the leader of the Texas A&M football team, and newest member of “Dude Perfect”, and somehow, miraculously swishes in the hoop way, way, way below.
It’s unbelievable, which is nothing really new for Manziel.
