Jonathan Baruch is mourning the loss of his good friend and client after Lee Thompson Young was found dead in his apartment on Monday (August 19). The actor's landlord found him in his pad after he failed to show up for his TNT gig in the early morning.
"It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning," said Baruch in a statement. "Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time."
Lee Thompson Young got his start in entertainment in 1997 when he auditioned for the part of Jett Jackson in 'The Famous Jett Jackson.' Disney picked up the pilot a year later and transformed it into a movie in 2001. Lee was born on February 1, 1984. He was 29-years-old at the time of death.
