Lee Majors comes to "CSI: NY"

Lee Majors takes a bite out of the Big Apple with an upcoming guest spot on CSI: NY, first reported by TVGuide.com.

The veteran TV action hero will play an ex-cop who comes to the aid of Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise), whose case becomes connected to a cold one investigated by the former over 50 years ago.

Majors became a modern-day Captain America as Steve Austin on ABC's The Six Million Dollar Man from 1974 to 1978, which led to the equally popular The Bionic Woman with Lindsey Wagner.  Three years later, he then became the guy that made Clint Eastwood looked so fine as Hollywood stuntman and bounty hunter Colt Seavers on The Fall Guy from 1981 to 1986.

Since then, Majors has made guest appearances on shows such as Walker, Texas Ranger and FOX's Human Target as one of many who took on the mantle of "Christopher Chance", the guy to go to for help where no one can ... because nobody deserves to die.

Majors' episode on CSI: NY (Fridays at 9p on CBS) is scheduled to air sometime in April.

The first seasons of both The Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy are available on DVD.
