Lee Lindsey knows how to make Dreams come true with new album, 'Flowers.'

The sky is a darkened periwinkle and the wind blows cold. There is no snow on the horizon, but I wish there was. Because I like snow and within the snow, I often find the heart of my next story…my next book. But, I digress. I am not writing today to talk about the cold or snow or the heart of my next book. You see, I had a talk with Dreams today. Dreams is my best friend and goes with me wherever I go. I cannot live without my Dreams. He has been so good to me, and has allowed me the most beautiful gifts…So, today, I’m sharing Dreams with my good friend, Lee Lindsey.

You all know her famous son, Sam Bradley. You know her famous daughter, Grace Lindsey. Both son and daughter are currently residing in London, England – although they are children of the world – and are quickly becoming two of the most popular artists on the indie circuit. What you may not know is that Lee Lindsey is an accomplished singer/songwriter/musician in her own right. You may not know that Sam and Grace both were inspired by Lee when they were growing up as they listened to their mother write songs and perform. And you may not know that Lee, once a highly sought after model, is talented and beautiful and a creator of her own Dreams.

Lee is friends with Dreams, as well. She walks with Dreams in the back of her Poppy Cottage where the water rushes and gurgles over rocks and crevices and ushers in new sounds and melodies. She runs barefoot through fields of sunflowers and poppies and basks in every scent and flutter of nature calling out to her. And she climbs high to reach the mountaintops where Dreams is always waiting, saying, “I am here for you. I will help you make me come true.”

And so it is. Lee, who writes authentic, powerful, pop-country-folk ballads that cross generations, will be releasing her third album, Flowers, on April 12, 2013. Currently residing in Vancouver, Lee has been working in the studio on a new music video to complement the album, and in conjunction with this, she will be touring the U.S. this summer with her band to promote the album and get to know more of her U.S. fans.

You can download a free acoustic version of the title track from her Facebook page: http://linkd.in/2tzR6x. Just click on the Poppy Album which says “Free Song.”
