The relationship between a man and his wife, a father and his sons and a woman and her husband. This movie also explores history from slavery to the present and it allows to audience to take an emotional journey as a result. The actors in this movie draw you in to each one of the characters and then takes you on a journey within ones self allowing you to really understand and feel their pain.
The cast includes Forrest Whitaker (Lee Daniels), Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr., Lenny Kravitz and Terrace Howard. In addition to these actors there are some other cameo performances that are outstanding as well.
