LeBron youngest to mark: Reaches 20,000 points, beats Kobe's record (Video)

At 28 years and 17 days, LeBron James became the youngest player in NBA history to reach the threshold of 20,000 points scored in a career. During Miami's victory against Golden State (92 - 75), "King James" also took the opportunity to surpass the 5,000 assists mark.

He became the youngest to reach the mark when he drained a field goal in the second quarter of Miami's easy win against Golden State. "The Chosen One" beat Kobe Bryant's previous record of 29 years and 122 days when he reached 20,000 career points.

"It means everything. It means a lot. First of all, like I continue to say, it means I've been able to be healthy. To be out on the floor and do what I love to do, I love the game of basketball and I try to give everything to the game. And hopefully it continues to give back to me,"he said to ESPN after the game.

James finished the night with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists, and was all smiles on the Oracle Arena floor.
