LeBron James continues to build up his resume as a multi-talented mogul.
This isn't LeBron's first foray into the television industry. James helped put together "The LeBrons," a cartoon program based on characters James portrayed in Nike commercials.
The new show will tell the story of two people from Philadelphia's inner city. According to the AP, the two characters, one of whom is an NBA star, will deal with the struggles of attaining fame and how it affects relationships with family and friends.
James will not be on camera, instead serving only as executive producer.
To help him in his venture, LeBron has enlisted several prominent people in the industry. Tom Werner, who produced "The Cosby Show" and "Roseanne," will help develop the show. Actor Mike O'Malley is a producer and writer for the program, and LeBron's business partner Maverick Carter will also be involved.
A release date has yet to be determined or announced.
