LeBron James has set a wedding date. The Miami Heat basketball star and long-time love Savannah Brinson have marked off the entire weekend of Sept. 13-15 for the wedding of their dreams, after all these years (off and on) together. People magazine reports the story on Thursday, March 7. Does a destination wedding seem in the offing? No word yet.
LeBron and Savannah have two little boys: LeBron Jr., 8, and Bryce, 5. Right there, they have a matched (except for size) set of ring bearers for a custom-designed ceremony.
LeBron James and his high school sweetheart put the wedding off for quite a while, but they officially became engaged just over a year ago. "When it happens, it happens," Savannah Brinson said in an interview back in 2010. "If we do it, I want it to be forever."
Potential guests received a “Save the Weekend” pre-invitation from LeBron James and Savannah Brinson, hinting that big activities would be taking place on that mid-September block of dates. The note showed a cartoon of the family flying into San Diego. Is that the intended location or just a gathering point? Further news to follow.
