LeBron ditches black mask, helps Heat drop Magic

Black mask, clear mask -- it really doesn't matter what face gear LeBron James wears. The Miami Heat just keep on winning.

Saturday's victim was the in-state rival Orlando Magic. James guided Miami to a 112-98 victory by posting 20 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals. It was the Heat's seventh straight victory and 10th in the last 11 games.

In the contest, James wore a clear mask to protect the broken nose he suffered Feb. 20. On Thursday, James had donned a black mask that created quite a buzz, but the NBA requested James ditch the black mask. Despite some reservations, LeBron complied and switched to the clear version.

Perhaps the mask color did slow James a bit, as Saturday's win marked the first time he had been held under 30 points in the last five games. However, with Dwyane Wade chipping in 24 points, the Heat took a 16-point lead into the fourth quarter and cruised to victory.
