Learning, having fun, and saving in 2013, Orange County (Photos)

Families, couples and singles can still find things to do in 2013 that are either very reasonable or totally free. Lovers of 'art' who enjoy an evening out, strolling among beautiful art work, will find that each month in Orange County there are two cities who let you enjoy this for free.

Laguna Beach "art walks' are free on the first Thursday of every month, from 6 - 9 p.m. There is a free shuttle bus that picks up at the Laguna Art Museum, 307 Cliff Drive, Laguna Beach, and shuttles participants around. The Museum also has a free informal artists talk on the same evening, at the Laguna Presbyterian Church, at Forest Ave & 2nd St. The free outdoor 'art display' at 5:30 p.m. begins before the art walk, and showcases the work of contemporary artists.

On the first Friday of each month, Fullerton also has a free 'art walk' from 6 - 10 p.m. Guests can either just stroll the village or visit the local downtown galleries, cafes and stores. The 'art walk' includes many local galleries and independent venues that feature local original work, and some venues have music and beverages. Look out for the "walking man" in front of the official establishments. Check here for answers to the most popular questions and for more information visit http://www.fullertonartwalk.com/.
