The StarMaker Performing Arts Center in Norton has scheduled a speaker to talk about what it takes to start a career in the performing arts.

Have you ever wondered how to turn your love of theater and performing into a career? Have you thought about how great it would be to perform on a Broadway stage or to get started in television? If so, this is something you will want to check out.

Mr. Peter Sklar form Harvard University will be presenting "Getting Started in the Arts" on Saturday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. He will be talking about how young performers can get hired for Broadway, film, television, or dance.

Mr. Sklar is considered a leading expert on young performers, and has worked as a producer and talent scout. He has worked with stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Reese Witherspoon, Lori Loughlin, and thousands of others.
