Kendra Hurteau, co creator of the "Under the Roses Lenormand Deck", will be teaching the Lenormand Oracle at the Boston Tea Room in Wyandotte. This is a unique form of cartomancy that utilizes 36 cards. Those who are well versed in Tarot may find this an intriguing system to explore.

Kendra Hurteau and her daughter, Katrina Hill, manifested a series of these decks over the last years. Inspired imagery, as well as ergonomic size design, make these decks a delight. This writer has purchased on of these lovely decks and can say without hesitation it is one of the loveliest oracles in my collection.

The list of the series of decks include:

  • Under the Roses Lenormand (published by U. S. Games Systems, Inc)
  • Halloween Lenormand
  • Yuletide Lenormand
  • Lenormand Silhouettes
  • Houses and Elements

The hosts at the legendary Boston Tea Room for this event are Kendra and Vanessa Navarre, owner. No newcomers on the scene, this cornerstone of the downriver psychic community has been around for over thirty years. They are a member of the American Tarot Association, and are the founders of The Detroit Area Tarot Guild.

Those who participate in the workshop will receive Under the Roses Lenormand deck upon arrival. This is included in the cost of registration, which is $18. The time is set for 1:00 p.m. thru 4:00 p.m.

The venue is located at 121 Elm Street, near the pharmacy building. You cannot miss the window display. It is very Tarot triumphant in nature. To find out more, you can contact them at (734)281-2244.

Take a few steps next door and you may discover Joe’s Hamburgers. This place serves the greatest fried pickles and fried Twinkies in the known area.
