Learn to Cook with Chocolate

Yes, Valentine's Day has passed, but there's no reason we can't keep enjoying chocolate, right?  Chef Jasper Mirabile sure thinks so as he is set to do a Chocolate Experience on Monday, February 21 at 7:00.

This is just the latest in a series of Experiences that Chef Mirabile has created, each one blending decadent dishes with invaluable cooking tips, to create a dinner unlike anything in Kansas City.  Frankly, while drinking limoncello cocktails while dining on limoncello risotto and chicken or feasting on official Bolognese sauce (official as in the recipe is registered with the Italian government official) has been great, there's something that makes the heart beat a little faster at the thought of a whole night dedicated to chocolate.

But it's not just any ol' chocoloate.  It' Patric chocolate, from Columbia, MO!  Also, at the last experience, Chef Mirabile hinted that diners wouldn't just be eating dessert, they would also be enjoying savory Italian dishes made with chocolate.  (Of course, this approach has its ups and downs since who would mind a 5 course meal of chocolate, really???)  While fans of Mexican food are used to savory chocolate concotions, for a master of Italian food to make such dishes is pretty fantastic indeed.
