It is getting close to Valentine’s day which is February 14. Florists are getting started to make advertising for the sale of Valentine’s day floral gifts. After viewing some of their sales campaign on their floral design products, I notice that the majority of designs for Valentine’s day floral gifts are bouquets. This means that bouquet is one of very popular floral gifts and many people love this particular gift.
The most well known use of bouquets is wedding bouquets which are held by brides. And this is one of mandatory items for weddings. As a floral arrangement instructor, I teach how to make bouquets at my classroom on a regular basis. As this is very important and mandatory item for those who learn floral designs, the curriculum of some of our school’s programs cover the lesson of making bouquets.
If you have ever experienced to make bouquets, you must recognize that it takes a lot of time to complete a bouquet. I can say making bouquets is a time consuming project. After repeatedly practicing, they can earn reasonable level of skills.
Like other types of floral arrangements, once they have earned a decent skill, they are able to clearly understand and digest what demonstrators are doing on You Tube or other information described in various websites. As I mentioned from time to time, it is so important for students to be patient until they acquire decent skills. They must recognize later that the skill they earned from their instructor is very valuable and priceless because they recognize they can make the best use of such skills for making a variety of designs . They can expand the portfolio of their floral designs by referring to “free information” from internet offering a wide range of information relating to the know how of floral decorations. It is obvious that such information provides you with valuable hints and suggestions which should be utilized by people who already earned decent skills at a floral school.
Getting back to bouquets sold at floral shops or internet sites, the prices of bouquets range from $40 to $90. It depends on the size, number of flowers used and also the type of flowers. It may be a good idea for you to buy one of them and send it to your girl friend as a Valentine’s gift to express how you love her. If you are female, you can give such floral gift to your parents. If you really like flowers and want to earn skills of making bouquets yourself, you can start taking lessons of flower arrangement right now.
