Work, home and family members can cause stress. Uncontrolled stress can lead to depression and other health problems.

Here are ways to de-stress after a long day: read a magazine or book, exercise, listen to a funny comedian, walk, meditate, go bowling, attend yoga class, watch your favorite TV shows, watch your favorite sports team play, go to your favorite restaurant for dinner, surround yourself with positive people, listen to music, enjoy the zoo, watch a good movie, visit a museum and leave haters alone.

Yoga is a great way to clear your mind and de-stress. Some people believe yoga is the answer to better health and relaxation. Become a yogi. Many celebrities including Russell Simmons practice yoga.

On June 21, 2014 over 8,000 people attended the 12th Annual Solstice in New York City. The event included free yoga. *Enjoy the slideshow yoga pictures from the event.

If you enjoy meditating, relaxing and stretching, attend yoga class in your city.
