See something rarely seen at a painting exhibit, how the work was created. You'll learn that and more at Matisse, In Search of True Painting at the Met on the upper east side of New York City.
The exhibit shows you a number of paintings rarely seen and the best part, a display of photographs of how some of his paintings were created. You'll also see studies of paintings he created in two different styles. It was almost like he could not choose which way he wanted to focus his work.
Catch the Matisse show before it closes on March 18.
