April 5, 2010 - Studies have shown whole-grain foods aid in weight-loss, and particularly in the loss of abdominal fat. Still, there is a lot of conflicting information in the diet work, particularly when it comes to carbohydrates. If you're looking to add whole grains to your diet but aren't sure how to do so in a healthy way, an upcoming class at the Milwaukee Public Market may be just what you need.

Grains, Glorious Grains! will help participants learn about how and where to buy organic whole grains. Instructor Liz Crawford will demonstrate recipes for different kinds of pancakes, soup, and even dessert.


The Grains, Glorious Grains! class will be held at the Milwaukee Public Market Wednesday May 12 at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $19. You can register by calling the Market Office at 414-336-1111.
