Want to learn how to make your yard more beautiful and eco-friendly? Green gardening experts will be on hand to speak and sign their books during the forth annual Virginia GoGreen Garden Festival (held rain or shine) on September 12, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Garner Pavilion located behind the Science Museum of Virginia, 2500 West Broad Street, in Richmond VA.
Among the many speakers and vendors, several book authors will be on hand to discuss and sign their works:
- Sylvia Hoehns Wright – hostess for the speakers’ event – will host a book signing at 10:00 a.m. for her latest book, From Eco-weak to Eco-chic: Landscape Green. In support of Green Industry education, Wright is donating a portion of book sales to the Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association student scholarship fund. Details: www.TheWrightScoop.com.
- Judith Knott Tyler, author of Hellebores: A Comprehensive Guide and plant developer of Helleborus x hybridus 'Pine Knot Select' of Pine Knot Farm, is a participant of Beautiful Gardens® program and donated an early-bird special – limited quantity of give-a-way Helleborus x hybridus 'Pine Knot Select' plants. - Andre Viette, host of national radio call-in program “In The Garden” and author of the Viette Gardening Books will speak at 2:00 and sign books following his speach. Details: www.viette.com
