LeAnn Rimes appeared on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”talk show and said everything she was not supposed to say. Actually, she was not supposed to talk at all, due to voice-destroying allergies she has been suffering, reported a video published by Gossip Cop on Wednesday, Jan. 23. She also joked her voice was gone, because she has been screaming at the television – at a show she says she does not watch. That, of course, refers to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Brandi Glanville – the former wife of LeAnn’s current husband Eddie Cibrian – is one of the “Real Housewives.”
“Real?” asks LeAnn caustically? Interestingly enough, the entire interview ran without once mentioning Brandi Glanville specifically. Isn’t that, in itself, a test of fame? It seems that everybody knows her name.
Although she claims not to watch, LeAnn knows what happens on the Sunday night reality show by talking with her publicist the next morning. “It’s kind of interesting how it seems very one-sided most of the time,” LeAnn said, “with people lying about you and you’re like… [curse] words here!” A few moments later, LeAnn described her feelings with more color – just short of a bleep.
And she admitted to one Glanville charge. “I am ‘insane,’” she joked. But then she added: “I’m done with this now for another three months.” Not likely.
LeAnn Rimes did not sing on this particular Kimmel visit, due to the allergies. She has an album called “Spitfire” coming out in April. All the songs, she says, are about her life.
