LeAnn Rimes sues her dentist for messing up her teeth and her career (Video)

LeAnn Rimes is suing her dentist for messing up her teeth, according to TMZ in a report Thursday, Feb. 14. Rimes is suing Dr. Duane C. McKay who has been doing dental work for her for more than 3 years hoping to relieve TMJ pain and make cosmetic improvements.

The work that Dr. McKay did for LeAnn Rimes involved veneers and crowns, but in the process she claims that she has had to undergo 9 root canals, bone grafting, a temporary bridge and physical therapy.

Rimes is suing for malpractice asking for undisclosed damages for “physical, emotional, and psychiatric injuries.” She claims to have a “permanent cosmetic deficiency.”

MSN.com discussed her claim that the “permanent cosmic deficiency” has affected her career; she is demanding compensation for past and present earnings. Tongue-in-cheek, MSN remarks:

“Since she hasn't had a hit in several years, that second number should be pretty manageable.”

LeAnn Rimes has an album set to be released on April 9, entitled “Spitfire.” She will also be performing at C2C: Country to Country festival in London on March 17. So, it sounds like she is doing pretty well.
