LeAnn Rimes doesn't starve herself, says husband Eddie Cibrian

Singer LeAnn Rimes, who has lost a significant amount of weight since October 2010, isn't anorexic or starving herself, says her actor husband Eddie Cibrian.

'She's Just a  Very Conscientious Eater'

"It bothers me (that people call her anorexic) because, obviously, I know she’s healthy," Cibrian, 38, told Access Hollywood on Sept. 26, 2011.

"She eats more than I do sometimes. She’s just a very [conscientious] eater, as far as what she eats. She eats pretty healthy, but she works out pretty hard too.

She actually takes pride in the way she looks and it’s a shame that people will jump on the bandwagon just because she is fit. And she’s far from unhealthy.”

The slender 5'5" LeAnn, who runs, does yoga, boxes and strength-trains, appears to have lost 15-20 pounds since last fall, and has been tweeting bikini photos of her newly-slimline physique.

'LeAnn Works Our Like Crazy'

Ironically, LeAnn, 29, was criticized early in her career for being chubby but now bristles at speculation she's anorexic or bulimic.

"People are calling me bulimic or anorexic, and these are real issues and diseases that I don't have," she insists. "For someone like me who is healthy, who works hard for my body, it's very frustrating."

Husband Eddie says he loves the way the athletic Rimes looks now.

“She’s in fantastic shape and very healthy and I love the way she looks," says Cibrian, who stars in the new NBC series the Playboy Club.

“She works out like crazy. She works out hard. She boxes. She trains."
