We all know Research In Motion is hosting an international launch event on January 30th, where the veil will finally be ripped from BlackBerry 10 and the world will see the new phones and operating system in all its glory. However, it seems as though some customers will still have to wait a while before getting their hands on the Z10.
TMONews published a leaked screenshot of a T-Mobile product road map that shows the "BlackBerry Lisbon," Or Z10 as it's called now, to be released on March 27th. You have to look closely at the photo above to see it on display on the top right.
While this is not official, and the real release date most likely won't be made public until January 30th, it's still the first bit of news we've seen, even though it's probably not what you wanted to hear.
Hopefully this isn't the actual release date for the Z10. Two months is an awfully long time to have customers wait for the new BlackBerry 10 devices, especially considering we've had to wait over a year as it is.
The Z10 is one of two BlackBerry 10 devices that RIM will be announcing at the end of January. It features a 4.3 inch touchscreen and plenty of top of the line bells and whistles under the hood.
RIM will also unveil the BlackBerry X10, which is their full Qwerty keyboard model that also has a touchscreen and equally impressive specs. It is expected to release a few weeks after the Z10 across all four major carriers, which means if this release date is accurate, we won't see the X10 until around April.
