The controversy surrounding high tech killings by American drones has continued worldwide. Recently, leaked data claims that over 300 US drone strikes have occurred in Pakistan since 2006, reported RT News on Jan. 30, 2014. Top-secret documentation which has been collected by Pakistani field officers has given detailed information on 330 US drone strikes that have occurred in Pakistan since 2006.

It has been estimated that the CIA operated drone program has killed 2,371 people. According to the newly released information the CIA drone program included targets ranging from solitary individuals riding on horseback to mountain hideouts filled with people. The new information offers a “strike-by-strike account” of the deadly drone attacks.

It has been revealed that the Pakistani government has been aware of hundreds of civilian casualties, even dealing with strikes where it had officially denied civilians had been killed, reports The Bureau of Investigative Journalism. This bureau has published a leaked official document which records details of over 300 drone strikes, with an assessment of their locations and how many people died in each incident. This offers a rare insight into what the Pakistani government understands about the deadly campaign as we witness drones being used for controversial targeted killings, which sometimes accidentally hits civilian targets, by the CIA. These drone strikes have apparently been ordered by President Obama himself.
