Leah Messer--Calvert kept her daughter Adalynn Faith Calvert a secret for several weeks following her February 4th birth. However, yesterday, her exclusive Us Weekly spread was finally unveiled and now, she's telling all about her third daughter.
"She’s such a blessing, because it was really hard for us to lose our first child," Leah revealed to Us Weekly on March 20. "So she’s very, very spoiled." Just months after they began dating, Leah became pregnant but just months into the pregnancy, Leah lost the baby. It was unfortunate for the couple and after the incident, they split briefly. At that time, Leah went back to her ex-husband Corey -- but not for long. By April of last year, Leah and Jeremy were back together and married.
While this is Jeremy's first child, Leah says he's like an old pro! "I have to give him 100 percent props," she says. "At first, he was nervous to hold the baby because she as so tiny. But he adjusted really well. He changes poppy diapers; he does it all!"
And according to Leah, the new baby has inherited her father's good looks. "She looks like her daddy," Leah says. "She might have my eyes, but her nose, cheeks and mouth all look like Jeremy’s."
