Leah Messer had quite the eventful episode of Teen Mom 2 last night. Not only did she accept the marriage proposal of Jeremy Calvert, her boyfriend of four months, she also found out that she was expecting his child. But when she found out about the pregnancy, she was alone and when it came to telling her new fiancé, she was a bit on edge.
"When I took the pregnancy test I was really nervous because I didn't know if it would turn out positive," Leah explained during the January 28th episode of MTV's Teen Mom 2 After Show. "I was a little bit nervous to tell Jeremy because I didn't know how he'd react. I think before it was just like, 'Oh we're thinking about it,' then it was like if I drop the bomb and this is for real it might hit him really hard. So I was a little bit nervous but then I was happy too."
Leah and Jeremy had began dating months before and moved in together with Leah's girls just weeks prior to the pregnancy. However, as quick as things seemed to be going, Leah and Jeremy seemed to have a great relationship, and as Leah says, they had talked about a family. Either way, it's understandable that Leah would be nervous. Things between her and her twins' dad didn't end well and the pressure of having two children at a young age likely had a lot to do with it, so Leah was probably haunted by her past in this scenario.
