Leah Messer-Calvert may be happily married and living with her husband Jeremy Calvert and newborn now, but this time last year, things were not so great. While she was engaged to Jeremy, she wasn't sure about her feelings and everything is currently playing out on Teen Mom 2 which means plenty of backlash and strange emotions for Leah.
Because of Leah's admissions on the show regarding her feelings for her ex-husband, she's gotten a lot of backlash, but now, she's opening up about her past and letting fans know she has no regrets. "&&& I said yeah.. #TeenMom2 Hard times, but better places now!" Leah tweeted on February 25. "Don't regret it. I am here now because of it! The #Past makes us #stronger !" And stronger she is — and so is her relationship. Right now, she has everything she wants. She has her twins, she has a husband, and she has a baby. It's her very own happy family.
And Leah is right, the past has made her the woman she is today and if she's happy with that, nothing else matters. Sure, people will judge her and wonder why she did things a certain way or why she kept Jeremy around while still trying to figure out what she wanted, but things worked out for her in the long run.
