Leah Calvert and Jeremy Calvert are going to be seen going through a few difficult times on the fifth season of Teen Mom 2, and in a new interview, Leah let fans in on where their issues stem from.

“Jeremy is so dedicated to his career that he doesn’t see where it takes away from us,” Leah candidly admitted during a Feb. 11 new interview with OK! Magazine.

As a pipe layer, Jeremy is often gone for weeks, and even months, at a time, leaving Leah at home with their kids.

"It made it hard on me when he would go two or three days without talking to us,” she continued. Then, when he would return, he’d be a bit out of his element when it came to the madness of the home.

“When he’s gone it’s just him so when he comes home it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh there’s kids running around everywhere,’” she explained.

From there, Leah hoped that she and Jeremy would go to counseling, but unfortunately, he was against it, which Leah credits to him being “stubborn” and “a man."

Also in the interview, Leah revealed that Jeremy and Corey are “pretty close. They talk like they’ve known each other for years.”

It’s definitely good that Jeremy gets along with Corey, but when it comes to his and Leah’s marriage, they seem to be in need of some assistance, and it’s never a bad thing to enlist a professional. Hopefully, in time, Jeremy will come around to the idea of counseling.
