Not everyone thinks that “Teen Mom 2” can teach young girls anything, but Leah Calvert is out to prove them wrong. According to a new report out February 26, Leah recently opened up about co-parenting with her ex-husband, Corey Simms, and just how difficult (yet rewarding) it can be for parents.
According to the report, Leah tweeted:
Co-Parenting can only be what YOU and your children's father make of it! #Truth The children is the only ones that matter.
As usual, there were some ignorant fans who felt it necessary to correct Leah’s grammar to which she replied, “it’s Twitter, not grammar class.” Often times, it is hard to fit in exactly what you want to say in a mere 140 characters and it isn’t uncommon for some words to be misspelled or some grammar incorrect. Like Leah says, it’s only Twitter!
Obviously, it has not been easy for Leah Calvert or Corey Simms to co-parent, especially after the events that happened last year. Fans are watching all of this unfold on “Teen Mom 2” and it certainly is dramatic. After suffering a miscarriage, Leah finds out that Corey still has feelings for her. Of course, she is happy with Jeremy Calvert, but decides to slow things down (and even puts her engagement on hold) to ensure that she makes the right decision. Fans who follow her closely know that, in the end, she chose to stay with Jeremy and the two are happily married.
Of course, that doesn’t mean anyone should feel bad for Corey Simms! He has also moved on and will be getting married later this year. What is most important is that the twins have two new people in their lives that love them very much and that is what really matters. It seems apparent that he and Leah Calvert have been able to come together to co-parent.
