Leah Calvert and her husband Jeremy have been fighting for the majority of the fifth season of "Teen Mom 2." Since Jeremy is often away on work trips, Leah is left at home to tend to wifely duties and care for her three children. Unfortunately, Leah is overwhelmed with the responsibility and struggling to get her husband to understand that he is making her a "single mom" at home.
Although most mothers would surely love to be so blessed to be able to stay at home with their children and not have to work, or even worry about money (Jeremy makes a reported $19,000 per month), it's not working for Leah.
As fans have watched the show play out, many have responded badly to Leah, claiming she's ungrateful and slamming her for such nonsense, which has led her to release a statement via Facebook, explaining more about her situation.
"What you all need to understand is that even though I knew what Jeremy's job was it didn't make it easier having my husband away," Leah wrote on her official Facebook fan page on March 19. "It's not easy going weeks without talking to your husband when he could talk to you and doesn't call."
"I appreciate everything he does but things are different with his job compared to what it used to be and what it is now," she explained. "Please think and know before you JUDGE and make a statement about something when you really don't know what's going on."
On the show, Leah does a lot of complaining about her situation, but hopefully, that is the result of editing and Jeremy knows how much she appreciates him. He works extremely hard for Leah and her kids and should be treated accordingly.
