League of Legends Season Two is coming, with Spectator Mode live beta set to roll out in the form of a limited beta over the next few days. Spectator Mode (along with replays) has been a highly requested feature since League of Legends originally launched, and players will be diving in to test the feature in custom games during designated testing periods over the course of the debut.
Spectators have access to full vision on both sides of the field, and can quickly identify vital stats such as gold, items, and cooldowns from all champions.
Spectator Mode will be instrumental for shoutcasters for game broadcasts as well as being an excellent tool to learn builds, strategies, and other intricacies of League of Legends from all angles of the game.
League of Legends Season Two will feature a robust five million dollar prize pool and support from many of the major eSports outfits, including MLG, ESL, and IGN Pro League. The Season Two Championship will feature teams from all over the world, including North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and China.
