Economics is a matter of concepts we have formed to meet the daily needs, technology to aid us in gaining more technology and other needs. Like any technology, the more complicated it is seen, the more likely it is to get screwed up causing failure to all. Being dependant on technology and economics has come, built over time this has happened quickly and easily. The long-term considerations are starting to be seen in many parts of the world, and many changes are going to happen if we are to survive the coming changes. The risk is high, this same problem has been faced by many societies over our history, and most have not passed it safely. The global economy has linked all nations, in more than one way and it is easy to understand if one falls we can all fall.
Humans having needs which must be met for our survival, we have developed choices to meet them from two points of view—1) taking by force, or 2) trading. Long ago the human race started down a path where violence did not have to happen, our needs were expected to be met by the trade we allowed. Stressed as we were back then from the lack of resources, we had little to go on but trust to find value and develop information out of. Since information gained since has formed into a massive knowledge collection, this provides so many more resources, worked it in our reality to offer better results in our lives.
Complicated technology is made easier for us to use by the small bits and pieces which we know. But no one knows it all, thus when things fail we have to rely upon others to put it all right again. This means a multitude of people available to do the work, but as disasters go, they too have their problems and will not be available right away. Thus we are left to do the work on our own, and if you do not know how it can be most frustrating test of your limits and will. Technology dependence is real, but with it comes dependence on economics which links what happens to one of us to ripple through to all.
The economic links were developed to offer raw material from around the world to all in need, and the need over time has been great. The results have caused our global population to soar even with many migrations to better economic systems, the needs of those left behind still must be met. From the many disasters we have encountered, we know these resources would be need even more in the worse disasters. But without technology we can not state there would be any real means to develop the resources on our own, thus we would have to rely upon the aid of others to restore the technology we know. The only way to do that is through the economic channels pre-established, or to revert back to the days were we once accepted violence to end all problems.
Long-term conditions are hard to predict, as many things can happen along the way, but we can tell we are getting close to the end as the stress levels increase and alternative are not found. New progressive movements have advance us further, these bring with them both benefits and more dependency, thus long-term changes. Our survival has been linked to every one of these changes, both by the benefits and the dependency for we must take one with the other. The mainstream belief of stress on the system providing the next means to progress is not going to work, for stress already exist and nothing has offered anything new. Thus as we must seek better, we must seek it inside everyone of us, making the changes needed but not in the reality around us.
History has shown, those who try to force reality to fit them do not succeed, only by adapting to the reality around us do we survive. The more stress there is does not result in change, it results as an individuals is looking to make that change. But only by starting with a single individual does the change become noticed, the collective learning for one who teaches to all. Change occurs but it may not occur in the time you need, instead someone else may gain and offer it as an advantage one you must have access to first. The offer will also come with a price, for economics is a matter of exchanges to gain fro, and price is part of this exchange.
This exchange link extends to all parts of the world today, drawing in resources and offers to meet the needs of others as well. Just as the technology trap, if one link is missing or out of step with the rest, the entire chain falls. Finding one’s way out of this trap is not easy, it requires stepping back to the very basics and relearning what is worthy of trust and combining information with this trust to find value. The reality we live in is one which will catch up to us, we can either exist knowing this or abandon all hope but we can not form it to fit our personal desires.
