Think of it this way. In our fast paced world we want success and we want it NOW. And yet, we are not wired to make great things happen in one fell swoop.


We are built to improve little by little. We learn to connect the dots and finally see the whole enchilada and then, well success is close at hand.

Think about planting a tree. It needs water and sunshine. It does not need you standing over it saying “grow, grow, grow” because it won’t get any bigger with you making demands that go against its natural evolution.

Leaders will not transform in a single day. It takes time and effort and learning from mistakes.
