Lea Thompson recognizes 'Guardians of the Galaxy' post-credit scene on Facebook

According to "Howard the Duck's" Lea Thompson on Facebook Sunday, she gave an acknowledgement to James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy's" post-credit scene. She also posted an article that links back to Huffington Post that reveals the spoiler and Thompson also made a Facebook post on her page in regards to it being "Howard the Duck" week as her role in the Steven Spielberg film was also acknowledged recently in other avenues. Thompson made reference to Caitlin Moran's "How to be a Woman" and the blurb about "Howard the Duck" is also in that literary work.

Also, recently a mention was made about Thompson on in as being the chosen "Hottie Clip of the Day" in regards to a scene in "Howard the Duck" where she's viewed in her attire and an attempt at romance with the fowl creature from outer space. Thompson starred in other 80s films such as "Back to the Future", "Red Dawn", and "Space Camp." Thompson later starred in a five season run sitcom "Caroline in the City."

Apparently, the post-credit scene was just done for fun and had no real meaning in regards to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most Marvel movies tend to end in such a fashion, but one could guess that since Peter Quill was abducted in the 80s, it would make sense to have Howard show up in a cameo. Also, it seems animals are starting to rear their appearances in "Guardians of the Galaxy" as well, because even Cosmo, the Russian and telepathic space dog also made a cameo in the Collector's locale.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" is in theaters now and stars "Parks and Recreation's" Chris Pratt, "Star Trek's" Zoe Saldana, WWE's Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, and Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot. Watch as they take on Ronan the Accuser to fight over one of the Infinity Stone's that sought out by the Mad Titan and nihilistic genocidal maniac Thanos.
