Glee star Lea Michele will lend her voice to the upcoming 3-D musical Dorothy of Oz.

E! Online reports that Dorothy of Oz will pick up the action the day after Dorothy Gale's original trip to Oz, where she must return in search of the missing Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion.

Bryan Adams is working on the music for the film.  The cast so far includes Kelsey Grammer, Dan Aykroyd, Martin Short, Jim Belushi, Hugh Dancy, Patrick Stewart and Oliver Platt.

This will be the first foray into film for Michele, 23, who debuted on Broadway as a child in Les Miserables.  Her breakout stage role was in the original cast of 2007's Spring Awakening, which toured nationally last year with a stop in Chicago.
