Has "The Real Housewives of Miami" really been cancelled? Some of the cast members have taken to social media to discuss the cancellation rumor. Lea Black, often regarded as the mother hen of the group, has not confirmed or denied the rumor but has been busy retweeting tweets from fans demanding that Andy Cohen and Bravo renew the show, which seems to suggest that the show is at least in danger of being cancelled.
For example, on Friday, April 11, she retweeted a fan's tweet telling "Real Housewives" fan Lady Gaga to tell Andy that everyone needs more of the Miami housewives. She has also retweeted tweets that said that she should have her own show, showing that she's certainly open to a spin-off if there is a cancellation.
However, another housewife has come out to say that she and the gang will definitely be back for another season. "good morning! so grateful for all the love and support of #RHOM!! no worries, we'll be back! :) <3," Alexia Echevarria tweeted on Wednesday, April 9.
Marysol Patton sent a tweet that seemed to suggest there's nothing to worry about. On Thursday, April 10, she wrote, "It's all good," in response to a fan's tweet that he really hopes that the cancellation rumors aren't true. Meanwhile, the other stars of the show, Joanna Krupa, Adriana de Moura and Lisa Hochstein, have remained silent on the issue on their Twitter accounts.
The cancellation rumor started after Bravo released a list of renewed shows, with the Miami housewives show glaringly missing. A representative for the network told Wetpaint right after the list came out that "nothing has officially been decided yet either way" when it comes to the Miami housewives, which doesn't sound too reassuring for the show's future. The network may be waiting to see how the show does on its overseas runs before making a final decision.
