It's not often that a show comes around and knocks you out of your ruby slippers. Recently, I joined a few colleagues and friends at Julia's on Broadway to check out a drag show we had all heard about but never actually attended. While there, we witnessed possibly the most outrageous, spine-tingling, effervescent female impersonators, cabaret and burlesque performers in Seattle and, arguably, anywhere. The singing, stripping and naughty sensation called Le Faux had us rolling in the aisles and loving every bit of it.

It would be a social injustice not to share this with you so that you, too, may experience the wonder that is Le Faux. So, let's begin with the celebrities at hand and the marvelous cast portraying them. We'll start with a true gem by the name of Shannel from season one of Ru Paul's Drag Race. Shannel is the absolute star of the show and her beauty is unsurpassed, but definitely challenged by the remaining scandalous cast. Shannel recently posted on her Facebook page that she will only be in Seattle for two more months so if you'd like to see her in the act, get your tickets right now! I mean it. Now.

Moving on, we've got the fabulous Fosse K as Lady Gaga/Liza Minelli, Sean Paul as Madonna/Michael Jackson, Isaac Scott as Gwen Stefani/Britney Spears, Gabriel Sanchez as Beyonce, Kristopher Allen, Victor as the aerialist and the Le Faux Dancers - Gabriela Sanchez Samano, Victoria Gutierrez, Sarah McKenzie-Duckworth, Sierra Boone, Audrey Fan, Brett Muckler, Patrick O'Mahoney, and Gene Osias. Last but certainly not least is Pre-Show Emcee Art Ruiz.

This show has you on the tip of your toes, dancing to the popular music and smiling as the immaculate dancers prance throughout the stage and into the aisles beside you. If you don't mind jumping on the stage and joining them, the cast are more than excited to ask you all about your sex life and other privy details. If you would prefer not to be singled out, don't sit anywhere near the outside of the table and keep your arms and legs to yourself. If you think that sitting in the back will remove you from the action, you are totally wrong. In a good way! It doesn't matter where your station is at Julia's because you will feel included and engaged regardless. It is one of the most impressive parts of the show's atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome - Gay, Straight, Lesbian, Bisexual, Married, Single, Bachelor and Bachelorette. Le Faux states that the show is appropriate for all ages. Tickets can be purchased via Brown Paper Tickets between the prices of $20.00 - $40.00 depending on seating. The show will sell out so get your tickets ahead of time.
