Right next door to the crown jewel of Maccioni family's restaurant empire, Le Cirque is the more casual bistro Le Cirque Cafe. Offering live jazz and cabaret music performances from some of the city's most talented musicians every Monday night from 8 PM -11 PM cover-free.
Providing its hallmark service, exciting atmosphere and excellent cuisine, in a more relaxed and convivial setting. The Adam D. Tihany designed café is sleek and cozy with colorful carpeting and other plush touches. Patrons can enjoy a remarkably well-priced cafe dishes featuring a seasonal prix-fixe menu and outstanding wines offered by the glass.
On this night, the charismatic Chris Norton Quartet performed a extraordinary, well articulated 3 hour music set including covers of musical classics such as the 1930 original hit "Puttin' On The Ritz" and 1960 classic by Ray Charles "Hit The Road Jack."
The amalgamation of live music and fine dining began with the Spaghetti alla Chitarra con Pomodoro. Not your typical appetizer to begin a meal but the Spaghetti offered a luscious start to our meal. The pasta noodles was cooked to Al dente perfection.
Night couldn't be complete without a order of the infamous Crème Brûlée originally made by pastry chef extraordinaire, Dieter Schorner. This rich custard blend is heavenly divine with every bite.
