One of the most celebrated nights of the Integrated Wealth Management Fashion Week El Paseo event is the Le Chien show where dozens of dogs strut the runway in adorable fashions to raise money for the Humane Society of the Desert.
Last night, hundreds of people gathered for the Le Chien event under the big white tent on El Paseo and Larkspur to get a look at the doggie fashions of Linda Higgins and to raise money for a wonderful charity. Dogs of all sizes took to the runway with their handlers all decked out in fashions by Higgins. Higgins designs under her label Classic Doggie Designs and fits all sorts of dogs with doggie couture fashions.
The show began with a live auction that raised over $30,000 for the Humane Society of the Desert, followed by the runway show.
Models walked the dogs down the runway to an elated crowd. From French Bulldogs to Doberman Pinschers, all sorts of dogs were represented and wore bows, dresses, coats and capes.
If you didn't catch Le Chien, there are still seven more days of events for Fashion Week El Paseo.
