LBAA Women’s Bass Pro Tour Top payouts and “Wild Card Tournament”

The 2013 payout levels have more than tripled this year making LBAA Women’s Pro Tour the highest paid fishing tour exclusively for Women. First place will receive $7500, and first place for the co-anglers will get $3750.

“Wild Card Tournament

A special qualifying tournament for the LBAA Classic Championship will be held in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA on the Red River, September 13-13, 2013. In the past the top ten bass angling pros and co-anglers determined by a point system would advance to the ‘Classic. The new LBAA Tournament format, the Wild Card Tournament, will allow the top two pros and co-anglers berth into the LBAA Classic Championship.

“The idea,” says Cheryl Bowden LBAA co-founder, “is to gain new anglers who didn’t get a chance to fish the LBAA Women’s Pro Tour who still want to get in on the Classic Championship and to give anglers who fished the tour a chance to gain more points and make the ‘Classic’ field.”

“There is still more to come we can’t let out of the bag just yet.” Explained co-founder Secret York, “but the additional payout and Wild Card Tournament just couldn’t wait any longer. The Wild Card Tournament should make a beautiful end to the tour on the waters of the Red River.”
