When stomachs are rumbling and bodies fatigued, the only choice is delivery. The choices for delivery are limited and most often come down to pizza, pizza, or pizza. Why, oh, why won’t some of these otherwise excellent restaurants deliver to your door? In Portland, OR; Denver, CO; and San Diego, CA; they do! Well, sort of. The service is provided by Delivered Dish.
Here’s how it works. Go to the Delivered Dish website and view menus for your zip code. The list of restaurants varies depending on your location. The full menus are available at your viewing pleasure, and you can even choose multiple menus with an additional charge. When you’re ready with your selections, call them up to make your order.
From there, they call the individual restaurants, place your order, and drive to the restaurant(s) to pick up your meal. Then the most magical of things happen: they bring it to your door. Viola! Delivery.
Although it’s a little more expensive than a pizza delivery… well, there’s a price to be paid for laziness! (And it's worth it.)
