Passengers flying into and out of Delta Terminal 5 at Los Angeles Internation Airport are in for a treat, as of Oct 10 the first "Rock & Brews" restaurant was opened in the Terminal. The rock themed dining and entertainment brand, was co-founded by rock legends Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS.
According to Sherell Palmer of 'Los Angeles World Airports' this is their first airport location, which they hope to extend to many other U.S. airports. “Needless to say, we have spent a lot of time at airports during the course of our careers, and the availability of a quality food and entertainment experience while you wait for a flight is long overdue,” said Stanley and Simmons in a joint statement".
The family-friendly restaurant will feature comfort food, craft beer, and rock and roll and should give passengers, waiting for their flights, a more pleasant way to pass the time. A concept that should work well in an airport environment and is part of the company's strategic expansion.
The Rock & Brews Concert Bar at LAX will offer both 'dine-in' or 'grab-and-go' service. Passengers with a long wait can grab a seat and select from a menu that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner items as well as a broad range of craft beers while enjoying the concert themed environment. Passengers on short time can order a meal to take with them on their flight. The restaurant will be open from 5 a.m. - 11 p.m. daily visit www.rockandbrews.com for more information about the location of other restaurants.
