Los Angeles airport was attacked by a single gunman today, killing a TSA agent and wounding multiple bystanders. The perpetrator, Paul Anthony Ciancia, has been taken into custody after a failed gun battle with the LAPD. It was also reported that the gunman expressed suicidal thoughts to his brother before going on his shooting spree at LAX.
This recent incident has sparked debate regarding gun-control and access to certain types of firearms. The perpetrator who senselessly murdered and severely wounded innocent people at LAX airport was armed with a military style assault weapon.

How many acts of domestic terrorism will the country be subjected to before the government genuinely focuses on gun-control? The fundamental trend in the US is to arm more people to prevent gun violence. This theory may contribute to subsequent violence due to the untethered access to assault weapons and other harming agents.
