Beyonce Knowles has been all over the headlines this week. First, Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the VMAs, to announce that Beyonce’s video was better. Beyonce showed her style and class by letting Swift finish her speech in place of he own later in the show. Then, there was the announcement of her first fragrance, Sasha Fierce, but now that dosen't't seem to be working out so well for Beyonce.

Abercrombie & Fitch filed a lawsuit in a Columbus, Ohio court yesterday, Wednesday September 16, to stop Beyonce from launching a fragrance under the name of her alter ego, "Sasha Fierce," reports WWD.

Abercrombie states that they began selling its own scent, "Fierce," in 2002 and had the name trademarked in 2003. Beyonce filed a letter-of-intent application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in September 2008 for the Sasha Fierce mark in the fragrance category. Abercrombie alleges that a cease-and-desist letter was sent to Beyonce after learning of her intent.

Coty responded by saying: "We can confirm at this time...that the terms Fierce and Sasha Fierce are not being used as names of a Beyonce fragrance," reports WWD.

Will Beyonce still release her fragrance? If so, what do you think she will rename it?
