Lawsuit claims former assistant forced to sleep with Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has been hit with a lawsuit by former assistant Jennifer O'Neill, the New York Post reported on Friday. O'Neill claims Lady Gaga owes her nearly $400,000 in overtime pay. Not only was the former employee required to spend 24/7 with the hours a day with the "Edge Of Glory" singer, she also had to sleep with her, too, during 2010's "Monster Ball" tour.

To be clear, though, nowhere in the lawsuit does it say that O'Neill was forced to have sex with Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga has previously stated she is bisexual.

In the court documents, O'Neill said:

I was by her side virtually 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That includes sleeping in the same bed with her. Because she did not sleep alone.

When asked if she felt that sleeping with Lady Gaga was a required part of her job, O'Neill replied:

I felt it was. Unlike anybody else on that tour, I did not have my own hotel room. I was not asked if I wanted my own hotel room. I had no privacy, no chance to talk to any family, no chance to talk to any friends, no chance to have sex if I wanted to have sex. There was no chance to do anything.

And she was quite irate that she couldn't reach me on my phone a couple of times, and was quite angry and asked me why she was paying for this hotel room if I was unreachable.

Another thing she would do in the middle of the night, would be wake me up to have me change the DVD in the DVD player because she didn't want to watch that DVD any more and she couldn't get up to walk across the room to change the DVD herself.

In another statement, O'Neill said that Lady Gaga had gone so far as to ask her to fetch a tampon.

In a deposition, Lady Gaga said that O'Neill knew there was no overtime pay:

Jennifer is a] f*cking hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn't earn. She thinks she's just like the queen of the universe. And, you know what, she didn't want to be a slave to one, because in my work and what I do, I'm the queen of the universe every day.

When Lady Gaga gave her deposition, O'Neill was in the room, and she addressed some comments directly to her former assistant:

She knew there was no overtime, and I never paid her overtime the first time I hired her, so why would she be paid overtime the second time? This whole case is bullsh*t and you know it.

I'm quite wonderful to everybody that works for me, and I am completely aghast to what a disgusting human being that you have become to sue me like this. Because she slept in Egyptian cotton sheets every night, in five-star hotels, on private planes, eating caviar, partying with [photographer] Terry Richardson all night, wearing my clothes, asking [Yves Saint Laurent] to send her free shoes without my permission, using my YSL discount without my permission.

The lawsuit has been dubbed, due to Gaga's comments, the "Queen of the Universe" lawsuit.
