Lawrence student goes national in Chevron Delo Tractor Restoration Competition

Lawrence Free State High School student Stuart Wakeman is a finalist in the Chevron Delo Tractor Restoration Competition.  Wakeman will take his tractor to the 83rd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis next month.

Laura Priest, Free State FFA sponsor, described Stuart's work as "an amazing accomplishment", adding "most entries are done in teams, but Stu is one of the lone individuals who did this project."

Supporters can view short videos by all contestants who entered, and even vote for their favorites.
