Co-founders and CEO’s, Kevin and Doug Lawrence of Lawrence Brothers Promotions (LBP) are gearing up for a mind-blowing performance in preparation for their highly anticipated “ICON” The Future of Fashion show, September 28, 2014 at the Valley Forge Casino and Resort in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
One of the nation’s leading hair and fashion marketing companies, LBP has built a reputable brand by providing a platform for Virginia and Maryland-based hair stylists, barbers, models and fashion designers to showcase their amazing talents.
“Once we established Lawrence Brothers Promotions, (2007) with our experience as managing salons and barbers shops, we realized the importance; the stylists and barbers needed a platform to really help promote their business and bring in residual income and growth,” said Doug.
During the upcoming broadcast of the Partners in Health and Biz radio show, Doug and Kevin explain their career journey, (Football to Fashion) business philosophy, and give us a sneak peek into the ICON fashion show.
Many of us have attended a fashion show, but Kevin Lawrence describes why LBP productions are unique.
“I do believe that what sets us apart from a lot of other promoters is that number one, we care about the people that we work with and we have the capital from our sponsors to make the show an event where people come in and say, ‘The Lawrence Brothers are going to put on a good show,’ ” Kevin touted.
Two of the main sponsors for LBP are MilkyWay Hair from Cuticle Remy/Shake ‘N Go Fashions and Mane ‘N Tail personal hair care products.
Additionally, LBP has produced signature events in association with ESCO Brand, AKOO, Bronner Brothers, Inc., Andis Clippers, Sensational Hair, Applesbees, Omni Hotels and Hilton Hotels.
The Lawrence Brothers are proud of the excellent talent presented in their show, such as hair stylist Tamiko Williams and fashion designer Kendrick Brown, AKA, Dutch Douglas.
“I’m ready to plan phenomenal hair,” Tamiko said. “I have things lined up, so when they look at the hair, they see a total package...The hair will play a large part of it and it will be mind-blowing,” she laughed.
“I want them (people) to jump into my mind and see exactly what I was thinking as each model walks down the runway, because at the end of the day, the runway is our pulpit, so we’re going to make sure they see a message and fashion,” said Dutch.
