What do you do when you need a lawyer? You go to the yellow pages, or Google, and do a search for "Lawyer", but it's almost impossible to find one for what you need, quickly. As CEO and Founder of LawDingo - Nikhil Nirmel showed us at the October edition of Philly Tech Meetup, there is a better solution.
It's pretty simple:
- you sign up on their site
- type in a few keywords
- enter a phone number
- talk to a lawyer live
That's really it, pretty painless, and effective. You can connect your bank or linkedin profile to bring your offline information online and make the transactions seamless. There is a news feed to see who you have connected with. Even though LawDingo is relatively new after graduating from Y Combinator, over 10,000 people have used the services to contact roughly 1,100 lawyers that are in the database. Each lawyer has a profile, so you can check them out, and yes you can purchase additional services or forms you may need.
All in all LawDingo is taking the tedious world of law from the world and putting it online at your fingertips in a simple platform. What do you think about it? Leave a comment to let me know.
