Later today, September 24, Chapman University's Memorial Hall will host what is sure to be a lively debate on Constitutional law between the deans of two California law schools. John Eastman, Dean of Chapman University School of Law and Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean of the University of California at Irvine School of Law will debate and sort out various Constitutional law issues.
According to an OC Register article, the two Constitional law experts will focus mostly on civil issues and it is expected that the issue of terrorism will be debated as well.
With Irvine carrying the reputation of a liberal school, while Chapman has a reputation of being conservative, this could be a liveley debate and Chemerinsky in particular has been known to not hold any punches in live debates. Either way, the event will be a great opportunity for any law student to hear two exceptionally incredible Con Law experts hash out important Con Law issues.
Location: Room 404, Beckman Hall, Chapman University. Tickets are free but are required to attend. For information call 714-628-2526.
