As the new year fast approaches, we perhaps find ourselves looking back and wondering why we didn't manifest all the goodies we set our intentions on for 2012. Take comfort my friends for you actually set the ball rolling by declaring your desires. But what I recently learned and am about to share with you is truly a powerful secret!
You must realize by now that just wishing will bring you nothing more than closer to knowing what it is you do want. Okay, with that said you've also probably have heard that you have to take action. Now here's where many of us get pissed off. First this is because the theory behind the secret we all watched and read about led us to believe that wishing, and hoping, and thinking, and praying (sounds like the Shirelles?) would bring it to us. But just like the song by the Shirelles: wishing, and hoping, and thinking, and praying won't make it happen.
So what to do? What is this action we are to take? Well for one thing it is not to go out and spend money so don't worry! Read on and and re-read if necessary. Oh and if you don't mind, please comment and keep me posted.
Here's the simple answer you've manifested by making your desires to attract in your life: When we state that we want, desire, would like, would love, need (now that's a bad one!) we are actually putting out there into the Universe that we are not grateful with the job it is doing with providing for us now. This in effect makes the Universe pause and say: 'Screw you." oh and by the way it stops delivering!
To put this into perspective, think of your typical customer support person (a store clerk, table waiter, customer service rep , etc.) When the customer starts complaining- although the theoretically the rep is supposed to try harder to please- they usually remember how under paid they are and decide YOU are not worth the extra effort. Stay with me on this, please.
Now, should you preface your complaint with a compliment or just a simple statement of gratitude, then the rep will usually respond with an offer to fill any further requests. This is when you can get the assistance and results with what you set out for. (notice I didn't use the word Need!)
Well it's the same with the Universe. Start out with offering gratitude for what you have and ***most important*** continue with offering gratitude for what it is you are seeking by stating your grateful for receiving it already!!!
