A big episode of “Law & Order: SVU” airs on NBC Wednesday night and fans are anxious for spoilers. It is been a long break for viewers over the past three weeks as they waited for new episodes. On Monday, Huffington Post shared a sneak peek into the April 30 episode. How will Benson fare?

The last that viewers saw, Olivia Benson had been tortured once again by William Lewis and he ended up killing himself. He is indeed dead, but there is an investigation into what happened. Episode 15x21 is titled “Post-Mortem Blues” and the synopsis at TV Guide shared a few more clues into what fans can expect.

Due to the complex history between Lewis and Benson, she is under a microscope when it comes to the details in their final chapter together. There will be an IAB investigation along with a grand jury to pursue an indictment against Olivia. Benson will be arrested, and two lieutenants will tell her she needs to save her career no matter what. However, it's not quite that easy for Benson.

Donal Logue is back as Lt. Declan Murphy, and viewers can expect to see him stick around for a bit by the sounds of things. It is said he will be in the mix through the end of this season, and he will be rocking the boat. He is an abrasive guy and the team will be hesitant to accept him, but it sounds as if ultimately he will win people over.

The “Post-Mortem Blues” episode of “Law & Order: SVU” airs Wednesday night on NBC. While viewers are surely confident that ultimately Benson will be cleared of all wrongdoing, it's not going to be an easy road. Only a few episodes remain before the season 15 finale, and the show has not yet been officially renewed for another season. How will fans be left hanging this season? They cannot wait to find out.
